What do we do?
We sell paintings and other interpretations of Venetian scenes.

Why?

After long years of experience in tourism, we made a number of observations.
It is very clear to us that most visitors to Venice have very little time to themselves, particularly those who travel with tour groups. As a 'retired' tour leader myself, I know full well what kind of day is normally planned for you in the city!
  • An early start as more often than not your hotel is outside the city on the mainland somewhere.
  • A city tour which quite often includes a visit to a local glass factory.
  • About an hour free before lunch.
  • Lunch in one of the restaurants in the centre of town.
  • The gondola serenade.
  • Either free time for a couple of hours or a quick tour of the better-known islands of the lagoon, Burano, Murano and Torcello.
  • Leave the city by about 4.30 pm as you have to get back to your hotel in time for dinner.

So where is the problem you may ask?
It doesn't take much thought to realise that there is actually very little time left for browsing around the shops or, in our case, the works of local artists.

Which is what we
are here for!

We hope that this site gives you the chance to browse at your own leisure some of those lovely Venetian scenes that so captured your attention when you were here. Maybe the weather was against you, or you had run out of film in your camera ....or worse still, as is so often the case towards the end of a holiday, the cash flow was limited!

Equally, we are hoping that the site will help conjure up images for those who have never been here. Maybe one of our paintings could be an inspiration to come to the city one day and see it all for real!

We have included a page of links. There are links to local transport companies, the rail and bus stations, parking areas , restaurants, bed and breakfast lodgings and so on. It is our pleasure to include links to some of our favourite sites also.
